The Coca-Cola Company climbed six spots on the 2017 Harris Poll Reputation Quotient® (RQ®), coming in at No. 12 on the general public survey of the 100 most visible companies in the U.S.
The poll was conducted online between Nov. 29 and Dec. 16, 2016. More than 23,000 Americans rated companies' reputation strength across six dimensions: Social Responsibility, Emotional Appeal, Products and Services, Vision and Leadership, Financial Performance, and Workplace Environment.
Coca-Cola was one of 17 companies to earn an “excellent’ reputation score with a reputation quotient of 81.18. Amazon.com topped the list for the second year in a row with a reputation quotient of 86.27, ahead of Wegmans (85.41) and Publix (82.78).
