Everything about the 2014 Charlotte Pride was a huge success! In August, Charlotte experienced their largest Pride attendance to date – an estimated 100,000 people. At our Pride booth, McDonald’s & Coca-Cola raised over $6,200 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) – more than double the amount raised in 2013.

Over the two days of festivities, I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people that included McDonald’s restaurant crew, RMHC volunteers, and so many couples who relished in all that Charlotte Pride had to offer. Thousands of people were happy to support RMHC, while enjoying delicious beverages from ‘perfect partners’ – McDonald’s and Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola's partnership with McDonald's is a very special one. We work together in many aspects of both our businesses: marketing, innovation, operations, sustainability, diversity & inclusion... the list goes on and on. I think of us as perfect partners, which shows through to our consumers. The happiness and well-being of our consumers is at the heart of everything we do. [More about our partnership here]
