The Coca-Cola Foundation’s President Helen Smith Price has earned a spot on EBONY magazine’s 2016 EBONY POWER 100 list, which celebrates the world’s most inspiring African-Americans. Price leads Coca-Cola’s charitable arm in funding worldwide projects focused on women’s economic empowerment, global access to water, and youth education and development.

For over 70 years EBONY magazine has recognized heroes of the Black community for leading, inspiring and demonstrating through their talents. The EBONY POWER 100 has nine categories: Art of War, Community Crusaders, Corporate Crowns, Elevate, First in Line, Manifest, Players, Wi-Fly and Women Up.

“I’m humbled to join this list of inspirational leaders on behalf of The Coca-Cola Foundation,” said Price. “This honor from EBONY is a reflection of the positive impact our Foundation and the Coca-Cola system and has on communities throughout the world.”

Price is honored as a Corporate Crown, a category described as “brilliant business leaders thriving in Black Excellence.” She joins executives from companies including AT&T, Bank of America, Eaton Corporation, Federal Express Corporation, Nike, and Proctor & Gamble.

EBONY POWER 100 is filled with notable academics, activists, actors, artists, athletes, comedians, doctors, entrepreneurs, executives, journalists, filmmakers, nonprofit and not-for-profit leaders, pastors, producers, and TV personalities. The cover stars are Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles, Filmmaker Ava Duvernay Singer / Songwriter / Actor John Legend, and Rapper / Entrepreneur Nas. There are impressive honorees with potentially unfamiliar names like Dina Griffin, Architect, Presidential Library and Carla Hayden, the 14th Librarian of Congress.
