When The Coca-Cola Foundation invited Atlanta partners to a holiday breakfast at Coca-Cola headquarters on Dec. 13, they received more than a celebratory meal. The Coca-Cola Foundation surprised five local partners with year-end contributions.
“Giving back is important throughout the year, but no time feels more meaningful to do so than the holiday season,” said Helen Smith Price, president, The Coca-Cola Foundation. “Our partners work day in and day out to build a stronger, healthier community right here in Atlanta. Coca-Cola is proud to provide further assistance to programs that benefit so many people.”
A total of $100,000 was granted in equal amounts of $20,000 to All About Developmental Disabilities, Bobby Dodd Institute, Gigi’s Playhouse, Goodwill of North Georgia, and Shepherd Center. Each of these organizations, in their own way, help increase the possibility for a more independent life for people with disabilities.
