Two new countertop Coca-Cola Freestyle units, including this one, are designed for medium-volume outlets. They can dispense 80+ beverages.

The Coca-Cola Freestyle family is growing. Coca-Cola will pilot three new countertop versions of the innovative fountain dispenser by the end of the year, extending the technology’s reach to a broader variety of customer outlets.

Coca-Cola Medium-Volume Dispenser

This Coca-Cola Freestyle unit, which dispenses 35+ drinks, is designed for work break rooms or cafes.

The new units will offer the same features that have made Coca-Cola Freestyle popular with consumers and valuable to customers – unparalleled beverage choice including more low- and no-calorie options, high quality, connectivity and an engaging experience – in designs that fit on countertops.

The expanded lineup of Coca-Cola Freestyle dispensers will include two designed for medium-volume locations that are able to dispense 80 different beverage choices. The third unit, designed for locations such as work break rooms or cafes, provides more than 35 drink options. The same engaging touch-screen interface is part of all the new dispensers. All three will be available to customers globally.

“Since Coca-Cola Freestyle made its debut in 2009, it has proven to be a game-changer,” said Jennifer Mann, vice president and general manager, Coca-Cola Freestyle. “People are amazed by the variety of choices and our customers see increased sales. Through a relentless focus on innovation, we are now able to provide a Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser appropriate for the unique needs of customers while still giving the same great beverage experience.”

Coca-Cola Freestyle: What’s Your Favorite Drink?

The original Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser, introduced in 2009, offers 100+ beverage choices.

The original Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser offering more than 100 beverage choices such as sparkling beverages, flavored waters, sports drinks, lemonades and teas – including more than 70 diet and low-calorie and 90-plus caffeine-free beverages – continues to provide the best solution for high-volume customers. Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenses unique beverages by blending specific recipes of concentrated ingredients with water and sweetener at the point where the beverage is dispenseddelivering great quality and beverage variety through proprietary micro-dose mixing technology. The countertop units will target customers with lower volume thresholds and space constraints.

Coca-Cola Freestyle recently expanded its availability to more than 20,000 dispensers in 150 cities across 48 states. In 2013, Freestyle units dispensed approximately 1.8 billion 8 fl.-oz servings.

Customers who have adopted Coca-Cola Freestyle are reporting double-digit increases in beverage servings. Research also shows that 80 percent of people have a more positive perception of the customer’s brand when Coca-Cola Freestyle is present, and nearly two-thirds of people say the availability of the dispenser impacts their choice to visit a restaurant.

A newly enhanced Coca-Cola Freestyle mobile app lets consumers find their nearest dispenser, get special offers, save favorite drinks, create and share mixes, check in and earn badges, complete challenges and more.
