Coca-Cola Ambassadors are committed to the success of our brands and our business. Through everyday personal actions, Coca-Cola Ambassadors enhance trust, reputation and specialness. These actions are the foundation of our winning culture and the key to our continued success.
And because we want to share the Coca-Cola spirit with our Atlanta community, the Ambassadors spent May 27th volunteering at our very own Piedmont Park following a training session to give back to our city’s favorite park and our favorite four-legged critters with the Piedmont Park Conservancy.
The conservancy, a non-profit, working with the City of #Atlanta for the preservation of historic Piedmont Park, has successfully transformed the once dilapidated Park into the most visited green space in Atlanta making the park a vital cultural and recreational resource that enhances the quality of life for all Atlantans.
The Coca-Cola Company and Piedmont Park are a true cultural asset to our city and working together is just one of the ways that we can enhance the quality of life for all of Atlanta. After only 3 hours, the Coca-Cola Ambassador team was able to complete mulching the 3-acre dog park, which will be accessible for the metro Atlanta area through the fall.
“Volunteering is a great way of saying thank you to Atlanta. I was glad I could help restore it so the dog owners and their dogs could enjoy it again.” – Audrey De Maesschalck, Coca-Cola CE Intern
The special off-leash area is truly a one of a kind area since the City of Atlanta ordinance requires that all dogs in public areas remain leashed. For more information on the Piedmont Park Dog Park and ways that you can help keep our space green, visit http://www.piedmontpark.org/do/dogpark.html
In the meantime, grab a refreshing Coke, the family, and bring the dogs over to the park for some summer fun in the sun brought to you by the Coca-Cola family.
