Powerade athlete Nico Calabria recently took time out of his travels in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, to share his inspiring story with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin. Nico, one of five amateur soccer players featured in Powerade’s 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign, was in Rio to witness the tournament action firsthand. The interview marked the culmination of a nearly year-long journey that began with the filming a TV commercial for Powerade, and also included a trip to Spain to meet his idol, Andrés Iniesta.

Despite being born with one leg, the 19 year old has a list of impressive accomplishments, from climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro at 13 to competing on the U.S. National Soccer Amputee Team which will play in the Amputee Football World Cup in Mexico this fall.

Nico shares his story to show that anything is possible and to inspire other "differently abled" people. Watch his CNN interview here:
