Chill off this summer with a fresh, fun take on the classic ice cream float. Here are three tasty new treats made with Coca-Cola, Sprite Zero and Coca-Cola Cherry.

Sprite Zero Lemon Cooler

The Light Choice: Sprite Zero Lemon Cooler

This refreshing, fizzy treat is just the thing to combat a mercury spike—and at less than 150 calories per serving, it’s genuinely guilt-free.

Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients

  • 3 scoops lemon sorbet
  • 6 to 8 ounces Sprite Zero
  • 2 frozen strawberries, thinly sliced

Directions

Scoop ice cream into a tall, narrow glass. Slowly pour in Sprite Zero until glass is almost filled. Garnish with strawberry slices and a colorful straw.

Sweet Sophistication: Coke, Coffee and Cream          

Sweeten your afternoon coffee break with this take on iced java: espresso ice cream and Coca-Cola combine for a creamy, rich drink. For an extra pick-me-up, stir in a small handful of chopped chocolate-covered espresso beans.

Makes 1 serving.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops espresso chip or coffee ice cream
  • 6 to 8 ounces Coca-Cola
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate-covered espresso beans, optional

Directions

Scoop ice cream into a glass or coffee mug. Slowly pour in Coca-Cola until glass is full. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate-covered espresso beans (optional). Serve with a spoon and straw.

Coca-Cola Cherry Brown

Kid-Approved: Coca-Cola Cherry Brownie Cow

Please the children with this decadent chocolate float. You can even crown it with a maraschino cherry to make it the final word in fruity chocolate deliciousness.

Makes 1 serving.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops chocolate fudge brownie ice cream
  • 1 brownie, roughly chopped (optional)
  • 4 to 6 ounces Coca-Cola Cherry (or Coca-Cola Cherry Zero)
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish (optional)

Directions

Scoop ice cream into a small glass or tumbler. Top with brownie pieces, if using. Slowly pour Coca-Cola Cherry on top until glass is full. Garnish with whipped cream and even a maraschino cherry if you wish. Consider serving with a straw and a spoon.
