Kent, who was presented with an honorary
doctorate, spoke of the rich history and optimistic outlook shared by Georgia Tech and Coke, while noting the
transformation and growth of both over the years. 'Yet the core of who we are
has not changed on either side of North Avenue,' Kent said. 'Coca-Cola is still
selling simple moments of affordable refreshment, with our 500-plus brands and
3,000-plus products. And Georgia Tech is still educating the next generation of
dreamers, doers and leaders.'
