Atul Singh is Chairman of the Asia Pacific Group.

Previously, he was Group President of the Asia Pacific Group with oversight of five business units: Greater China and Korea BU (GC&K), India and Southwest Asia (INSWA), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Japan, and South Pacific. He supervised operations in 36 markets, which included China, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, American Samoa, Australia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Northern Mariana Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu.

Singh joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1998 as Vice President of Operations of Coca-Cola’s India Division. He led the Franchise Operations and Key Accounts Group of the India Division from 1998 to 2001. He then moved to China and served as the President of the East, Central and South China Division. Under his leadership, mainland China operations were among the fastest growing Coca-Cola businesses. In September 2005, Singh took over as President of the Coca-Cola India and South West Asia business unit. Under his stewardship, Coca-Cola’s business in India made strides in all facets of its operations, emerging as one of the top seven businesses in the Coca-Cola system worldwide and delivering 32 consecutive quarters of growth.

As Group President for Asia Pacific, Singh has been instrumental in restructuring Coca-Cola’s system in the region for future growth. He was responsible for restructuring the bottling system in Indonesia which led to Coca-Cola's investment of $500 million in the Indonesian bottler. Currently, he is stewarding the formation of new bottling structures in strategic markets like China and, to a two bottler Japan. He is also the sponsor of the Asia Pacific Talent Initiative which is aimed at promoting gender diversity and building world-class senior leaders within the organization.

Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Singh worked with The Colgate Palmolive Company for 10 years and held several key positions including Country General Manager, Nigeria (1995-1998), Finance Director and then Country General Manager, Romania (1992-1995) and Finance Manager, Body Care Division, USA (1990-1992).  Before joining Colgate, Singh worked as an Auditor with Price Waterhouse in New York.

Singh is an independent director on the board of Compass Ltd (BATA international Board) and was also an independent director on the board of Bata India Ltd for three years. He has also been Chairman of AMCHAM India on two occasions. In the last eight years, Singh has chaired several committees on environment, water, sports, rural development and corporate social responsibility in India’s Apex Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Singh is a member of the advisory board of AIESEC in India, the world’s largest student organization and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a global body dedicated to creating better leaders through education and idea exchange. He is also on the advisory board of Catalyst in India, a leading global non-profit membership organization founded in 1962 that focuses on expanding opportunities for women and business.

Singh is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College of Kolkata, India, where he majored in Commerce (Honors). Singh also holds an MBA degree from Texas Christian University.
