Nathan Kalumbu is President of The Coca-Cola Company’s Eurasia and Africa Group where he leads the company’s business in more than 80 countries. Based in Istanbul, the group consists of five business units including Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia (TCCA), the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Russia, Ukraine and Belarus (RUB), Central, East and West Africa (CEWA) and Southern Africa (SA).

Kalumbu has successfully held numerous positions of increasing responsibility over his 22-year career with The Coca-Cola Company. He began his career as the Central Africa region’s External Affairs Manager, before moving into marketing operations and country management roles in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. Kalumbu also held the role of Executive Assistant to the South Africa Division President. Subsequently, during his tenure as Region Manager for Central Africa and Region Manager for Nigeria, he significantly contributed to the growth of the Coca-Cola business in those countries.

In 2004, Kalumbu was appointed Business Planning Director and Executive Assistant to the Retail Division President of North America. He returned to the Africa Group as Director of Business Strategy and Planning for the East and Central Africa Division in 2006. Kalumbu then led the CEWA business unit as President.

Kalumbu has served as the Chairman of Coca-Cola Juices Ltd. in Kenya and as a Director of Coca-Cola Shanduka Beverages Ltd. in South Africa, both of which are joint ventures of The Coca-Cola Company in Africa. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation.


Kalumbu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Zimbabwe in Africa and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta.
