Ad of the Week: Holiday Commercials from the 1950s

Around Christmas it's only natural to think about previous holidays and how you enjoyed them. Well, we are doing just that by looking way back to 1958 and featuring two commercials that were popular that year. 

Take a look at these Coca-Cola ads from yesteryear and enjoy the sweet whimsicality of old-school animation. The mid-1950s was considered a boom time in the ad biz. Thanks to the postwar baby boom, the population was growing at a speedy clip. That made for bigger families who needed more of everything. As you can see here, the holiday season was a time for sentimentality, shopping and celebration!
