Coca-Cola and (RED) again teamed up with fundraising platform Omaze to raise awareness and donations for The Global Fund, the 21st century organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics.

In order to bring together a global audience, the Coca-Cola (RED) experience chose five winners from around the world. Friday, Dec. 1 was a special night for all, as the winners got to go backstage with Grammy award-winning artist Ed Sheeran and attend the highly anticipated iHeartRadio KISS FM Jingle Ball 2017.

Coca-Cola (RED) contest winners included: Joanne Joubert from South Africa, Ruth Evans and Elliott Dennett from England, Amy Littlefield from the U.S. and Mary Anne Gonzalez from Mexico. All winners, who were also big fans of Sheeran, arrived at the beachfront Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif., before making their way to The Forum for one of L.A.'s biggest nights in music.

The night immediately began with guests heading backstage before Jingle Ball and meeting the man of the hour. From snapping photos with Sheeran to being serenaded with one of his biggest hits while eating pizza, everyone started out the night on a high note. Following the experience, winners enjoyed the rest of the performances at Jingle Ball.

In addition to the winners in attendance, Coca-Cola also invited a few VIPs including YouTube personalities/LGBTQ advocates Tyler Oakley and Raymond Braun.

Thanks to Coca-Cola and (RED), all guests not only got to be a part of a phenomenal night, they had the opportunity to learn about how we are globally getting closer to achieving an AIDS-free generation.
