The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines provide a globally recognized framework for companies to measure and communicate their environmental, economic, social and governance performance. We developed our report in accordance with the Core level of the GRI G4 guidelines. This is the sixth consecutive year that these reporting principles have informed our reporting process, and we assess our progress against these guidelines.
In this report, the GRI G4 General Standard Disclosures are solely for The Coca-Cola Company. In the GRI Index, we clarify which Specific Standard Disclosures are reported for our Company. The GRI Index includes disclosures on our company profile, economic performance, environmental performance, labor practices, human rights, impacts on society and product responsibility. In addition to reporting on performance indicators required by the GRI, we report on additional indicators important to our broad range of stakeholders. We review these additional indicators regularly, and aim to be as responsive as possible to our stakeholders’ feedback.
This report also aligns with the United Nations Global Compact LEAD Program Advanced Criteria for reporting, the United Nations Guiding Principles Reporting Framework and the Sustainable Development Goals. It meets the requirements of the United Nations Global Compact Communication on Progress.
