Carly Rae Jepsen, whose pop smash “Call Me Maybe” topped the charts last summer, is putting her next hit in her fans’ hands.
Jepsen, who competed on Canadian Idol in 2007, jumped at the chance to give fans a virtual seat at her her songwriting table.
“I know even with this past year, it's been a big part of my process, hearing what the fans love,” she told MTV News. “And it seemed like a crazy challenge to write a song with three different versions to it and allow the fans to kind go choose their favorite and help me create not only that, but the performance itself."
