Our Approach

The Coca-Cola Company has a longstanding commitment to reporting progress on our sustainability journey. As we advance progress against our 2020 Sustainability Commitments, we issue sustainability updates annually that encompass both our Company’s and the broader Coca-Cola system’s global operations. To provide a transparent account of our progress each year, we disclose our management approach to priority issues and provide information about our sustainability goals, metrics, partnerships and programs.

Reporting Structure

We’ve updated our reporting structure in order to provide easy online access to more real-time updates about our sustainability programs. We now feature all of our sustainability disclosures on Coca-Cola Journey. We provide a succinct and focused annual Sustainability Update, which provides highlights of our sustainability programs. We also include our comprehensive collection of sustainability materials on Journey

Taken together, the 2015/2016 Sustainability Update and additional sustainability materials on Journey constitute our “2015/2016 Sustainability Report”.

Recognizing that we have a broad range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, consumers, suppliers, bottling partners, shareowners, governments, and more, we believe that this new reporting structure will make it easier for our readers to locate the information that matters most to them.

So that readers have more up-to-date information, we also provide some information about decisions and events that took place in early 2016. In order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the impacts of our value chain, we report on non-financial metrics that extend beyond the boundaries of The Coca-Cola Company. By providing information about the Coca-Cola system, we aim to address the impacts of both our business and our value chain.
