For many of the 11 million Filipinos who’ve traveled abroad to find better work opportunities and make life better for their families, heading home for the holidays isn’t always financially possible.

As part of The Coca-Cola Company’s “Happiness Is Home” project, three of these individuals got the Christmas gift of a lifetime: a long-awaited trip home to the Philippines. One of them was Joey Doble, who hasn’t seen his youngest son in 10 years.
