The Coca-Cola Licensing team recently launched a new clothing collection with the brand WILDFOX. WILDFOX Hearts Coca-Cola, the second collaboration between Coca-Cola and WILDFOX, includes vintage-inspired comfy knits, hoodies, shorts and tank tops featuring the iconic Coca-Cola bottle, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2015.
“The bottle represents so much for the brand, and we were excited to team up with Coca-Cola to explore that part of America’s history and culture,” said Jimmy Sommers, CEO, WILDFOX.
WILDFOX and Coca-Cola celebrated the launch of the collection on Oct. 30 with an in-store event in Los Angeles featuring influencers and celebrities, including Sarah Hyland of “Modern Family”, Mel B of the Spice Girls, model/actress Olivia Culpo and model Kaia Gerber.
“We worked closely with WILDFOX and our PR teams to create an event that reflected the energy of both brands,” said Kelly Kozel, marketing and insights manager, Coca-Cola Licensing. “The WILDFOX shop on Sunset Boulevard is just beautiful. Pink and white stucco with a California cottage vibe. It was the perfect backdrop to a girl’s night out trying on the WILDFOX line and drinking ice-cold Coca-Cola.”
On why WILDFOX was the right choice, Becky Anderson, Coca-Cola Licensing North America business manager added, “WILDFOX is a leader in fashion and completely on trend with their silhouettes and fabrication. The garments are incredibly soft and the graphic application is fresh and playful: a perfect fit for Coca-Cola.”
The 14-piece Wildfox hearts Coca-Cola collection, which went onsale on Oct. 20, is available in Wildfox stores, Bloomingdale’s, Dash, Revolve, Nordstrom and American Rag.
“The Coca-Cola Bottle 100 Collection was our second capsule with WILDFOX. Our next capsule will launch in Spring 2016,” Anderson noted.
