Agnes Scott College is rebranding itself from a liberal arts college for women to an institution of higher learning for women who aspire to become leaders in an increasingly globalized world. And early results show that the strategic shift known as SUMMIT is paying off: the 127-year-old Decatur, Ga. school with deep ties to Coca-Cola welcomed its largest-ever freshman class to campus last fall, boosting total enrollment to 915 students.
In early-2014, Rayanna Perry heard a stat that piqued her curiosity and kindled an entrepreneurial energy she didn’t realize she had.
“Half of the world’s population had not had a Coca-Cola in the last month,” recalled Perry, a global HR manager. “That blew my mind.”
She went back to her office and jotted down a list of ideas to tackle the opportunity, including one with a clever name: “Coke it Forward.” The concept? To give consumers the ability

That translates to 176 truckloads, or up to 6.5 million bottles of water, to help with relief efforts for those affected by the Flint water crisis.
