As
“Share a Coke” continues to gain momentum in the U.S., Coke
employees were among the first to experience the summer campaign's 500-stop, cross-country tour featuring custom kiosks and much more.
One of the top questions anybody at
Coca-Cola
headquarters in Atlanta hears is, “Where can we personalize a Coke can?” Well the day
finally arrived where that question would be answered. Once lunchtime hit, or
maybe even a few minutes before, employees made their way to the party at
the courtyard.
As temperatures began to rise, and lines began to increase,
employees were determined to make it to the kiosk where they could personalize their own Coke mini cans with their first names. Domino’s Pizza and King of Pops were also invited. As Coke employees waited in line, munching on their pizza or
trying to eat a Coke Float popsicle before it melted, many were brave enough to break it down on the dance floor. It was
definitely a sight to see professionals get down to the cupid shuffle or
the wobble!
Giant TV screens were placed in several corners to display
the U.S. vs. Germany FIFA World Cup match, which added even much more excitement to the party. The line moved, slowly but surely, and finally, the moment everyone
was waiting for, their arrival to the personalization kiosk.
Each person was
allowed to personalize two Coke mini cans and pour a custom fountain drink from a
Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Heading back to the office was not a
dreadful reality anymore; with two personal Coke cans, pizza and King
of Pops in your tummy, and a "Share a Coke" t-shirt,
Coca-Cola employees were ready
to share their Coke...and a little happiness.
