This incremental investment builds on the $1.2 billion the Coca-Cola system has invested in Indonesia in the last 25 years. The global nonalcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) beverage category is expected to grow in retail value by approximately $300 billion between now and 2020. With more than 240 million people, Indonesia boasts the world’s fourth-largest population and a large, emerging middle class.
