Curt Ferguson is President, Greater China and Korea.
Curt was previously President of the company’s Middle East and North Africa Business Unit. Curt began his career with Coca-Cola USA in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1983. After transferring to Asia in 1988, he held a variety of management and bottler positions in subsidiaries of The Coca-Cola Company in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. In July 2000, he became Managing Director of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Egypt.
In late 2003, Curt became Senior Regional Director for the Western Africa region, based in Morocco. In January 2005, he was appointed President of the North and West Africa Division, based in Cairo. He became President of the North and West Africa Business Unit, responsible for 27 countries in 2007, and his responsibilities increased to include the Middle East region as well as Pakistan and Afghanistan (a total of 34 countries) in 2011.
Curt is an active member of the community, having served as Chairman of the Community Services Association Board, Chairman of the Cairo American College Board, board member of the Bilateral Fulbright Commission, and Vice President of AmCham Egypt. In 2002, while Curt was responsible for the business in Egypt, Coca-Cola Egypt was given the U.S. State Department Award for Corporate Citizenship by then Secretary of State Colin Powell, for its outstanding contribution to the community.
Curt holds a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Finance and Management from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Stanford University, and the Executive Management Program conducted by Wharton and Emory Universities. He currently serves on the International Committee for the Indiana University Foundation.
