Galya Frayman Molinas heads Global Strategy & Insights at The Coca-Cola Company. In this role, she leads corporate strategy development, runs global strategic planning process, and directs design and implementation of next-generation insights and analytics capabilities.
Molinas began her career in marketing at Coca-Cola in 1996, assuming various responsibilities in Turkey, Central Europe & Russia until 2005. She headed marketing for Coca-Cola Eurasia Group from 2005 through 2008, a region that included India, Russia, Turkey, Adriatic and Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia and the Middle East. Molinas moved into general management in 2009 as Turkey business unit president, and her responsibilities were extended to Caucasus and Central Asia in 2012. She served in this capacity until 2017, when she assumed the Global Strategy & Insights role in Atlanta.
From 1989 to 1996, Molinas worked in brand management at Unilever Turkey in laundry detergents and personal care categories. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Bogazici University.
Currently, Molinas serves as a director of the board at Coca-Cola Icecek, a publicly traded Coca-Cola bottler in Turkey, the Middle East and Central Asia. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Harvard Business School's MENA and Central Asia Research Center and a trustee of the Bogazici University Foundation. She was a member of the Coca-Cola Global Women’s Leadership Council and President of the Coca-Cola Foundation in Turkey. Molinas was elected chair of Turkey’s Business Council for Sustainability and also served as vice chair of International Investors Association of Turkey.
