    Circa 1950’s – this is the first composite can using spiral-wrapped paper with metal ends in nationwide distribution.  Earlier cans were all metal. Minute Maid concentrated OJ was just one variety, albeit the main one, in a line of 20 citrus variety juices.

    The new look of the flagship Minute Maid frozen concentrated OJ in the 70’s and 80’s utilizing the “juice drop with three oranges in a bowl,” an icon that would live on thru future iterations.

    Minute Maid was first to introduce chilled, ready-to-serve lemonades in the 80’s. The carton shown is the current graphic on the shelf.

    Starting with Minute Maid Light Crystals in the 70’s, chilled ready-to-serve product was introduced in the 90’s. The current product in the marketplace is depicted here.

    1981 – first juices approved by FDA to be packaged in European Tetrabriks. Shown here is the second-generation packaging introduced in late 80’s. Aseptically produced, this package form allowed for ambient shipping and shelved easily in grocery aisles. It was also perfect to freeze/chill, wrap in foil and tuck away in kid’s lunchboxes.

    The two Juices-To-Go flavors PET bottles pictured are the newest products introduced this year. Minute Maid first put single-serve in the marketplace in glass bottles in early 90’s. It was the first 100% juices to do so.
