Taylor Swift’s sweeping success has earned her plenty of gold and platinum awards throughout her career, and now she’s officially adding some silver to her collection.

The star is joining forces with Diet Coke in a new partnership, which she revealed this week through a candid video message on her Facebook page.

Swift, a self-proclaimed Diet Coke drinker, will be the face of the brand’s “Stay Extraordinary” platform, which celebrates self-assured and aspirational people who enjoy Diet Coke as part of their daily routines. She will serve as an ambassador for several Diet Coke initiatives and play a role in key marketing efforts for the brand – including TV, print and digital advertising, as well as retail and experiential activations. A new ad campaign will launch this spring.

“I’ve said for years that Diet Coke just ‘gets me’ and my lifestyle,” Swift said. “I’m so excited about our new partnership.”

The collaboration will give fans exclusive opportunities and extraordinary access to the star. Diet Coke’s social media channels will serve as a backstage pass, offering a rare glimpse into Swift’s extraordinary life and career through authentic videos, photos and updates. The brand also will provide special access to her highly anticipated Red Tour, which kicks off March 13 in Omaha, Neb.

By “liking” Diet Coke on Facebook and following @DietCoke on Twitter and Instagram, fans can stay up to date on the latest news, details and opportunities that will be announced in the coming weeks.

Lauded by Rolling Stone as "one of the few genuine rock stars we've got these days," Swift is a six-time GRAMMY winner and the youngest ever to win the coveted Album of the Year award. She has garnered more than 100 industry awards and has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME magazine.

With the release of her latest album, RED, she claimed the worldwide iTunes record for highest ever first-week album sales, and became the first artist since the Beatles to log six or more weeks at No. 1 with three consecutive studio albums.

Swift, who writes all of her own songs, has career record sales in excess of 26 million albums and 75 million song downloads worldwide. Her 11 No. 1 singles have topped the charts across multiple radio formats around the world.
