Coca-Cola Chief People Officer Ceree Eberly joined leaders from AACSB International (AACSB) in ringing the New York Stock Exchange closing bell on June 13 in honor of the organization’s centennial anniversary.

Founded in 1916, AACSB International (which stands for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education. AACSB accreditation is the highest standard of quality in business education with 761 business schools accredited in 52 countries and territories.

In addition to accreditation, AACSB strives to identify challenges and trends that are facing the business education industry through its research and various initiatives. In April 2016, AACSB and its membership of more than 1,500 announced a collective vision for the future of management education that identifies five forward-looking opportunities for business schools to serve as key drivers of change. The vision serves as a guiding framework for business schools, as they adapt to the significant shifts within the broader higher education landscape, and reimagine their purpose in society.

Eberly serves on the AACSB International Business Practices Council. She was joined at the NYSE by fellow representatives from across the business and business education ecosystem, including Beta Gamma Sigma, The PhD Project, Cornell University, University of Connecticut, Rice University, Baruch College and the University of Rochester.
