What would Christmas be without without cookies? Together with Virginia Horstmann from the baking blog Sugar, Cinnamon and Love, the Coca-Cola Journey Germany team spruced up these holiday cookies with Coca-Cola.


  • 7 Fluid Ounce honey
  • 0.5 Cup sugar
  • 0.5 Cup butter
  • 3 Tablespoon Coca-Cola
  • 2.5 Cup flour
  • 8 Tablespoon heaped soft whole grain rolled oats
  • 3 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 Teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoon cocoa

  1. Melt honey, sugar and butter slowly in a small saucepan stirring and let the mixture cool. Stir in Coca-Cola. Mix flour with oatmeal, baking powder, cinnamon and cocoa and combine everything to a smooth dough. Leave dough 30 minutes to chill. Then roll out onto a floured work surface, cut out star shapes and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in preheated oven at 175 degrees for approximately 13 minutes. Allow to cool.

For the Icing:

  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons Coca-Cola

Stir powdered sugar and cinnamon with Coca-Cola until smooth. Use a spoon to drizzle icing in a zigzag over the stars, then sprinkle with sugar pearls.
