Coca-Cola is teaming up with SQUARE ENIX on a unique in-cinema experience to promote the release of the Shadow of the Tomb Raider game.

On September 12, fans in the United States, Germany and Poland can experience The Making of a Tomb Raider, a feature-length film that follows renowned BASE jumper, climber and mountain biker Clair Marie as she attempts real-world Lara Croft challenges. The feature also will highlight Croft’s journey as told through in-game cinematics from the trilogy and show never-before-seen footage from the Shadow of the Tomb Raider game, which launches Sept. 14. Lucky ticket holders will receive a unique in-game reward for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and an opportunity to receive a limited-edition Coca-Cola Tomb Raider collectible cup in 75 U.S. theaters. Fans can also purchase three limited-edition Shadow of the Tomb Raider Coca-Cola or Coke Zero Sugar bottles on CokeStore.com.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Croft must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, she will ultimately become the Tomb Raider she’s destined to be. Created by a team of veteran TOMB RAIDER developers at Eidos-Montréal, in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available for the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, as well as the PlayStation4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC/Steam.

The TOMB RAIDER gaming franchise has sold more than 66 million copies worldwide. The franchise’s popularity has exploded into a series of blockbuster films based on the original Tomb Raider game and 2013 reboot. Its protagonist Lara Croft has been a contemporary global icon for over two decades.
