The Coca-Cola Company and its bottling partners were among the first international companies to establish operations in Ukraine. Over the last 23 years, the Coca-Cola system's investments in the country’s economy have reached $280 million.

Ukraine Common

The company opened its first bottling plant in Ukraine in Lviv in 1994. In 1998, Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine began production near the town of Brovary in the Kyiv region with the inauguration of a world-class manufacturing facility that now serves the entire Ukraine market. Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coca-Cola Hellenic and consists of a team of 1,600 talented, hardworking employees.

Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine produces and distributes a unique portfolio of quality global and regional brands, with a strong local focus on marketplace execution and leadership in corporate social responsibility. Their portfolio of brands include Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Coca-Cola light and Schweppes, as well as local juice brands Rich and Dobriy, BonAqua water, and others. Our portfolio of beverages offered in Ukraine is continually changing to meet the tastes of local consumers.

While some of their beverages, such as Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite, have universal appeal and are recognized the world over, others are created to suit the tastes, traditions and preferences of consumers in the local marketplace.

Food product quality and safety management systems are fully implemented at Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine. These systems are certified with international standards ISO 9001, PAS 223 and FSSC 22000. They have a rigid selection and approval system for raw materials, ingredients and packaging suppliers. Coca-Cola measures product and package quality attributes at the production to ensure their products meet company requirements and consumer expectations. The company also demonstrates innovation in the production processes and new approaches to environmental protection. The company is focused on water stewardship and replenishment, sustainable packaging, and energy efficiency.

As part of our continued support of our local communities, Coca-Cola in Ukraine supports Ukraine’s environment and sponsors various sports and educational events.

Since 1996, Coca-Cola in Ukraine has partnered with the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. Annually, we jointly implement several projects, including the award “Heroes of the Sport Year” awards program, the Olympic Day Run and Olympic Lessons in more than 150 schools. Coca-Cola also cooperates with the Klitschko Fund to build sport playgrounds under the project name “Call your friends, Let’s play together.” To date, 162 have been built around Ukraine.

Coca-Cola Ukraine also supports the Coca-Cola Cup carried out by Association of Armature Football, which attracts more than 600,000 schoolchildren. These and many other projects demonstrate Coca-Cola's commitment to promoting active healthy living, engaging more than 3 million Ukrainians each year.

In 2012, we opened the largest interactive Coca-Cola® Visitors’ Centre in Europe. The event was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Coca-Cola in Ukraine. Free guided tours provide opportunity to witness the process of our beverages production. Our Visitors’ Centre welcomes schools, community groups and organizations. About 30 000 guests attend annually.

The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) congratulates Coca-Cola on their outstanding record of success in Ukraine," said Morgan Williams, SigmaBleyzer, president of USUBC. "USUBC is proud Coca-Cola has been a member for almost 20 years."
