Breaking News! Music is Medicine and High School Musical star Lucas Grabeel released an original song
called “Beautiful Day” to raise money for pediatric patients at the Ann & Robert H.
Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Grabeel, currently starring in ABC
Family’s Switched at Birth is the most recent partner of Music is Medicine’s
program, which gives musicians the opportunity to Skype with a patient to
learn more about their story, interests and musical tastes, then craft an
original song for them.
“Beautiful Day” is a touching song made especially for Samantha, a 10-year-old girl battling cancer. “I feel so lucky to share my music with
Samantha,” reports Grabeel. “Music has brought me joy, love and inspiration in my life.
I’m so excited to (work) with Music is Medicine.”
