As the Woodruff Arts Center, the cornerstone for Atlanta’s artistic community, approaches its 50 year anniversary, The Coca-Cola Company is supporting its Transformation Campaign to help strengthen, transform and activate the culturally invaluable campus. The Company made a multi-million dollar donation to assist with the renovation of the Alliance Theatre, one of the primary goals of the campaign. In recognition of that contribution, the Alliance’s main stage will be named the Coca-Cola Stage when the updated theater opens fall 2018.

The Alliance renovation project will include a complete transformation of the theater’s main stage and rehearsal, educational, and artist support spaces. The remodel will provide significant enhancements to patron experience, technology, and infrastructure. The renovation is scheduled to begin spring 2017. During that time, the Alliance will produce its 2017/18 season in different venues around Atlanta.

The Transformation Campaign is one of the most ambitious fundraising initiatives in the history of Atlanta’s largest arts organization, having raised $110 million in less than two years. Coca-Cola was a leading donor, along with the City of Atlanta, Delta Air Lines, UPS, individuals and foundations. In addition to the Alliance Theatre, the Woodruff Arts Center is home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art.
