As a fitness trainer, it’s in my bones to motivate and push my clients to reach their fitness and diet goals. Earlier this week, I (@FitByMonica) partnered with @CocaColaCo to lead a live Twitter chat (#FITchat) about the important role of physical activity in a healthy, balanced lifestyle. During the chat, we talked about simple, fun and new ways families can get moving and the importance of balance and moderation.
I was thrilled to share with people how getting back to the basics can help them achieve an active, healthy lifestyle. One of the biggest things I emphasized during the chat is the importance of doing exercises you enjoy. You’ll be less likely to skip workouts!
Personally, I find it more fun to be active outside. Think back
to the days when you rode bikes or played kickball with your friends in the
