ATHENS – The newest member of the Coca-Cola family is making its global debut today in Greece. The first-of-its-kind Coca-Cola ‘No Calories, and With Sweetener from Stevia Plant’ joins four Coca-Cola choices available to Greek consumers – Coca-Cola Original Taste; Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Zero Calories; Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Caffeine Free; and Coca-Cola Light – and features the great Coca-Cola taste they know and love.
Coca-Cola Greece developed the new recipe in collaboration with the company’s Atlanta, Ga.-based global R&D team. It will be made locally by Coca-Cola Tria Epsilon at its Schimatari mega-plant, Greece’s largest beverage plant and distribution facility, and sold in stores across the country.
The launch is the latest example of The Coca-Cola Company’s consumer-centric business strategy to offer more beverages in more categories for more occasions and lifestyles, with a focus on no- and low-calorie options. The new beverage will be positioned under the ‘One Brand’ global marketing strategy, which unites all Trademark Coca-Cola brands under the “Taste the Feeling” campaign.

Over the past 10 years, Coca-Cola in Greece has reduced the average calories in its soft drinks by almost 20 percent.

Greece was the first country to launch Sprite Zero in 2002, now available in more than 100 countries.
