White Truck 2 Phil and I attended the Schmidt Coca-Cola Museum auction last weekend in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  The items being sold were just amazing and many collectors had traveled across the country to attend the two day event.  One of the items we were after was the 1949 White Motor Company delivery truck.  Hobbs Truck Ad White Motors and Coca-Cola have a long heritage and even shared the same President, Robert W. Woodruff, for a number of years.

The truck was restored by Erdi Carter and Paul Brown for the Schmidt museum to perfection.  It features the Hobbs Manufacturing Company body whose distinctive shape was created by noted industrial designer Raymond Loewy (patent below.) We were successful with our bidding and hope to use the truck in displays around our Company headquarters and at The World of Coca-Cola.
