“This is not the Coca-Cola you and I grew up with,” CNBC Anchor Sara Eisen said, kicking off today’s coverage from the company’s global headquarters. “We came to Atlanta to see how the 132-year-old Coke is transforming itself into what it's now calling a total beverage company.”
The network aired a series of live and taped segments on how the company’s approach to consumer-focused innovation is powering its growth strategy in the fast-moving beverage landscape. In addition to in-depth interviews with President, CEO and Chairman-elect James Quincey and Deputy Chief Financial Officer John Murphy, Eisen toured the Coca-Cola Archives and visited an Atlanta supermarket with Chaly Jo Moyen, SVP of Strategy, Planning and Decision Science at Coca-Cola North America, for an in-store look at the company’s diverse portfolio (see photo above). Nancy Quan, Coca-Cola North America Chief Technical Officer, also led on-camera demos of several equipment innovations including Coca-Cola Freestyle and DASANI PureFill.
