Sanket Ray

India and Southwest Asia and Emerging Large Markets

Sanket Ray will serve as President, INSWA and Emerging Large Markets Lead, beginning March 31, 2026. This group includes markets in India; Southwest Asia; Greater China and Mongolia; and Japan and South Korea. He will also continue to serve in his current role as president of the INSWA operating unit.

Ray, who joined the company in 2004, was named INSWA president in 2020.

Prior to his current role, Ray served as the company’s chief operating officer for mainland China.

From 2016 to 2018, he was CEO of Coca‑Cola beverages Vietnam Ltd. Under his leadership, the company-owned bottler was transformed into a world-class organization and set on a path for accelerated growth.

Ray joined the company in 2004 as regional logistics and planning manager. He went on to serve in a series of operations and commercial roles in India, eventually leading to his appointment as regional head of commercial, South Asia in 2014.

Prior to joining Coca‑Cola, Ray was a senior manager at Lafarge, a French industrial company.

Ray holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and a postgraduate diploma in marketing and sales from the Xavier Institute of Management, both in India.
