Tapaswee Chandele
Executive Vice President and Global Chief People Officer
Tapaswee Chandele is Executive Vice President and Global Chief People Officer for The Coca‑Cola Company, where she leads the company’s enterprise-wide human resources strategy across more than 200 countries and territories.
Chandele was appointed Global Chief People Officer in May 2026 after a year serving as senior vice president and executive assistant to the President and Chief Financial Officer. In that role, she worked closely with the executive leadership team to drive the company’s strategy and enable organizational changes for transformation and growth.
From 2019 to 2025, Chandele served as senior vice president of global talent, development and HR system partnerships. She was responsible for the company’s worldwide talent management strategy, including executive recruitment, succession planning, leadership development, learning, organizational effectiveness and future of work initiatives. She also played a key role in strengthening people and capability partnerships across the company and its global bottling system.
Chandele joined the company in 2001 in her native India as a management trainee. Over the course of her career, she has held a wide range of human resources and talent leadership roles across four continents. She has been based in India, Türkiye, South Africa and the United States.
Chandele serves on the board of Hindustan Coca‑Cola Beverages in India and on the board of directors of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga.
She holds an MBA in human resources and industrial relations from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in India. She also earned a Master of Science degree in biochemistry and clinical nutrition from Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital and a Bachelor of Science degree from Sophia College for Women, both in India.
