Speaking Up and Remedy

We are committed to providing access to remedy as a critical element of our human rights program.

Where we have caused or contributed to adverse human rights impacts, we provide for or cooperate in their remediation through legitimate processes. Where impacts are directly linked to our operations, products, or services through business relationships, we use our leverage to mitigate those impacts. Remediation may include compensation, reinstatement, or other appropriate measures.

Employees and external parties can report concerns through EthicsLine, a third-party service available 24/7 in multiple languages. Reports can be made anonymously where permitted by law, and we protect identities to the extent possible while conducting a thorough investigation. Every report is taken seriously and investigated in a timely manner. Those who submit concerns have the right to request follow-up and to be informed of the outcome.

We prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises a good-faith concern. We respect the role of human rights defenders, including trade unions, community advocates, and civil society, and do not tolerate threats, intimidation, or retaliation against those who raise concerns. We expect the same from our bottling partners and suppliers, whose obligations under our Supplier Guiding Principles include providing grievance mechanisms that are accessible and free from retaliation. External stakeholders may also raise concerns through civil society channels or the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) National Contact Point process. Use of our grievance mechanism does not require individuals to waive any legal rights.
