“This is not the Coca‑Cola you and I grew up with,” CNBC Anchor Sara Eisen said, kicking off today’s coverage from the company’s global headquarters. “We came to Atlanta to see how the 132-year-old Coke is transforming itself into what it's now calling a total beverage company.”
The network aired a series of live and taped segments on how the company’s approach to consumer-focused innovation is powering its growth strategy in the fast-moving beverage landscape. In addition to in-depth interviews with President, CEO and Chairman-elect James Quincey and Deputy Chief Financial Officer John Murphy, Eisen toured the Coca‑Cola Archives and visited an Atlanta supermarket with Chaly Jo Moyen, SVP of Strategy, Planning and Decision Science at Coca‑Cola North America, for an in-store look at the company’s diverse portfolio (see photo above). Nancy Quan, Coca‑Cola North America Chief Technical Officer, also led on-camera demos of several equipment innovations including Coca‑Cola Freestyle and DASANI PureFill.
