Coca‑Cola and Universal Parks & Resorts Team Up to Dream Up Secret Menu this Fall

10-27-2022

The Coca‑Cola Company and Universal Parks & Resorts are joining forces this fall to surprise and delight park guests with an exclusive Secret Menu. Now through Nov. 30, parkgoers at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have the opportunity to experience never-before-tasted drinks featuring delicious Coca‑Cola products but they need to find them first.

In addition to exciting drink combinations with unexpected flavors, each Secret Menu item also features Universal Parks’ food pairings to deliver an exclusive total taste experience. Highlights from the menu include the Autumn Spice Cooler featuring Coca‑Cola® Original Taste combined with rich cinnamon and a swirl of tart cherry syrup, paired best with the Milwaukee Dog from Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal CityWalk Orlando; and Hollywood Coconut Cream, a velvety blend of Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar and coconut cream with a cherry on top, paired best with Chicken Teriyaki at Hollywood & Dine; at Universal Studios Hollywood.

“The Secret Menu is an exciting way to engage first-time Universal Parks & Resorts visitors and seasoned guests alike. Each drink has been crafted to offer a unique flavor experience unlike any other, and complements well-known food offerings throughout the park,” said Fritz Wojdyla, SVP Global Corporate Alliances, Universal Parks & Resorts.

Accessing the Secret Menu is equally as exciting as tasting the items themselves, offering consumers a fun, refreshing way to experience Coca‑Cola beverages. The partnership teamed up with Buzzfeed creators to provide consumers insider tips on how to access the Secret Menu. Throughout the parks, and in the Universal Resort app, guests will be prompted to access the secret menu. Once consumers have downloaded the Universal Resort app, they can unlock the secret menu and instructions on how to access each item. For beverages that are available at restaurant counters only, consumers must reference the secret menu for instructions on exactly how and where to order.

“We are constantly seeking innovative ways to engage park guests with our beverages,” said John Egan, Vice President, Customer Partnerships, The Coca‑Cola Company. “This collaboration with Universal Parks & Resorts is the perfect opportunity for us to release exciting limited-time-only beverages in an interactive way.”

To access the secret menu items on select Coca‑Cola Freestyle machines, consumers will see a Vault promo button in the bottom right corner of the dispenser’s home screen. After tapping the button, consumers must draw a secret password on the screen with their finger to unlock the Secret Mix available on select Freestyle machines at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood as of early November. Consult the secret menu for locations.
