For the 13th consecutive year, The Coca‑Cola Company received a 100 percent rating from the Human Rights Campaign based on an in-depth analysis of workplace policies and practices for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) employees.
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is the largest LGBT civil rights organization in the U.S. Every year, the HRC publishes its Corporate Equality Index (CEI) as a benchmark for LGBT workplace inclusion at large U.S. companies. Now in its 17th edition, this year’s index featured more than 560 employers spanning nearly every industry and geography.
Coca‑Cola has received a perfect CEI rating every year since 2006. Businesses rated 100 percent are recognized in HRC’s "Best Places to Work" list. Additionally, all consumer-oriented businesses are included in their "Buying for Equality" guide.
"We are thrilled to receive a 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index," said Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer Lori George Billingsley. "Our commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality, and our support for our colleagues, family members and friends is intrinsic and enduring. We have always and will continue to demonstrate this commitment through both our policies and actions."
