The Coca‑Cola Foundation and The Coca‑Cola Company’s local bottling partner, Chesterman Company, are supporting disaster relief efforts in communities impacted by historic flooding throughout the Midwestern United States.

“Our hearts go out to the communities impacted by these devastating floods,” said Helen Smith Price, president, The Coca‑Cola Foundation. “As a longtime partner of the American Red Cross, we are grateful for their assistance and are proud to support these critical relief efforts.”

The Coca‑Cola Foundation has pledged $100,000 to the American Red Cross to provide immediate resources for emergency food and shelter across Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri.

In addition to monetary support from The Coca‑Cola Foundation, Chesterman Company has provided more than 20,000 bottles of water, and its employees are volunteering to support local relief efforts.

“We are committed to supporting the communities we call home during this challenging time,” said Cy Chesterman, president, Chesterman Coca‑Cola. “Our Coca‑Cola family is fortunate to be able to help our neighbors in need and we will continue assisting with local relief efforts in every way we can.”

Recently, the Coca‑Cola system also supported tornado relief efforts throughout the Southeast, including contributions to the American Red Cross and local relief organizations.
